According to a statement given by a company having Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala as minority shareholder, Walschot will take Jeremy Ramacha’s position who will leave to the new shareholder at the end of the schedule transition period.
Having more than 30 years of experience in aviation industry in leading operational, commercial and financial functions around the world, it is said that Walschot is seen as a respected and recognised senior executive and well trusted with the business and challenges of SR Technics from many years.
SR Technics has recently announced the name of Frank Walschot as its new Chief Executive Officer
Back in 2008 Walschot joined the company as a vice president engine maintenance and subsequently became the head of engine services. Being at that position he played a key role for development of engine business further.
Concentrating on the performance and efficiency of global operations, assuring the highest safety and quality standards at all locations based on the principles of lean and continuous improvement, Walschot was promoted to chief operating officer in January 2015.
Walschot returned to SR Technics after completing a 12 months assignment in Haikou of China. Being chief investment officer of HNA Technic, Walschot successfully supported Development of MRO strategy of HNA group and their business.
