National Airline of UAE, Etihad Airways will introduce a three-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to its daily services from Abu Dhabi to Casablanca, Morocco’s commercial hub. This will become effective from 1st of May. This technologically advanced aircraft has 8 private First Suits, 28 Business Studios and 199 Economy Smarty Seats.
With the introduction of 787 Dreamliner a scheduling change will also be seen that will be time optimising for the passengers travelling to and from Casablanca. Etihad Airways will keep its morning flight to Casablanca, and for better connectivity to a wider network of destinations such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo, it will operate a revised mid-morning return service too.
Etihad Airways facing increased demand to and from its two gateways in North America, is boosting its services to morocco.
Etihad Airways’ Morocco services will be boosted further more by adding third weekly flight in its services to Morocco Capital Rabat. This additional flight until 12th may is scheduled for Saturdays, and to meet summer demand it will also be operating using a three class Airbus A330-300 from 30 June to 29 September. This extra flight has been added with the aim to provide a range of choices to the point to point leisure and business passengers between UAE and Morocco.
Etihad Airways has a codeshare partnership with Royal Air Morocco since May 2007, and hence it places its ‘EY’ code on Moroccan carrier’s services from Casablanca to Agadir, Marrakech and Tangier.
