Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) became the winner of Annual Service Quality (ASQ) awards for second consecutive year given by Airports Council International (ACI).
ACI claims that it is the only survey program in the world to survey passengers view at the airport at the day of travel in the busiest airports of the world taking 34 key performance indicators.
Abdul Majeed Al Khoori AUH acting CEO said, “I am personally extremely proud of our team, our stakeholders, and all the entities operating at the airport, as I know the challenges they are going through day and night, yet they never fail in exceeding expectations, and delivering a world-class gateway to the capital of the UAE.”
Amman and Medina together secured the second place while Dubai stood on third place in the region.
Angela Gittens, ACI director genera added, “Objective measurement and benchmarking are critical in driving performance in any business especially in such a competitive and dynamic one as an airport,”
Abu Dhabi International Airport also has a logistics park of 500,000 sq.mt area which provides both FTZ and express cargo facilities. Operators include FedEx, DHL, TNT, Ceva Logistics, Aramex, Augusta Westland and Panasonic Avionics.
